Isaac reads us a story

While listening to a CD this evening, Isaac decided to pick up the CD case to read us a story. The story read, "Once upon a time, there was a hungry caterpillar. He ate a big green leaf. Then he pooped. The end.".

Hmm... I've never heard that version of the 'Very Hungry Caterpillar' before. Makes sense, though!

The aisles of Home Depot

Brandon is always so wonderful to carve time out of his busy school schedule to keep Isaac whilst I teach piano and voice lessons on Monday night. He and Isaac do all sorts of "guy" stuff together - tonight it was a trip to Home Depot.

As Brandon and Isaac walked the aisles, slowly mulling over random items, Brandon reports that Isaac said "Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Mo". Brandon found this amusing and so continued with, "Catch a tiger by the...", to which Isaac finished with"...foot". Brandon kept going, "If he hollers make him pay....", and Isaac finished with "Money!".

Makes me smile every time.
